Alta Application – Tips & Precautions
- Make sure your feet is clean and smooth and there are no cracks or any any kind of cuts whatsoever to avoid inflammation and irritation to the skin.
- Before applying Alta, It’s good to perform a patch test. Apply a drop of alta on your inner wrist to check whether or not you re allergic to the dye.
- Since, it’s a liquid dye it is bound to bleed which means it can soil your bedsheets, floor as well as your expensive heels.
-To protect your heels – I recommend wearing a shoe liner under your heels.
-To avoid soiling the linen – Wash your feet and pat it dry before jumping into the bed.
-To avoid staining the floor – Wear a pair of flip-flops inside the house.
Alta Designs for Feet
Things required – Alta, coloring brushes, a small bowl and a piece of cloth coz you certainly don’t wanna stain your floor.
Prep up your feet for alta application by moisturizing your feet with a body lotion at least an hr before and apply a nail paint in a color of your choice.
Spread a piece of cloth on the floor and pour alta into the small bowl.
Design 1 –
The first design is the most easiest and the most basic one. Dip the coloring brush into the alta and apply the color only on the toes like you see here. Make sure not to apply the color on the entire toe. Next, carefully paint a small circle in the centre. The circle may not be a perfect round but it’s ok. No need to worry about that . Repeat the steps on the second feet as well and adorn your feet further with a pair of silver nupur and anklets and that complete the first look.

Design 3 –
For the third design, all we are gonna do is paint the entire toe with this red dye like you see here. Apply 2 -3 coats of the color to make it deep red and enlarge the circle a bit more. I just love how it turns out.. so pretty. You may leave it as it is or can go ahead decorating your feet further by painting small dots around the circle so it resembles a flower.
You may notice the color bleeds a bit that’s because it’s a liquid dye. Don’t fret that’s absolutely normal and fine.
