4 Fusion Looks for India Independence Day

by Sarita Upadhyay

Hello Everyone,

In today’s India Independence Day special post, I am gonna be creating 4 fusion looks with a white maxi top that features side -splits I brought from Koovs.com . All of these looks are simple to create and are perfect for the occasion.

Look – 1

For the first look, I am wearing the Koovs White colored side-split Maxi top which also features long sleeves and soft fabric with a dark green maxi skirt I got from Ali Bhatt’s collection for Jabong. To add ethnic touch to the look I placed a dark green cotton-silk dupatta on my left shoulder and that’s it. Here comes my first fusion look that’s so apt for India Independence day celebrations.
Look – 2

The second look is all about draping the dupatta like a pallu of a saree. Grab one end of the dupatta tuck it inside the skirt on the left side and bringing the dupatta from behind place it on the left shoulder and randomly arrange the pleats and viola it’s done! This fusion saree look will look great with a pair of jhomkis and high-heels.

For the third look, I am going to layer up further by adding this gorgeous silk stole. All I am doing is placing this orange silk stole over the right shoulder and I look all dressed up for flag hoasting. This dressier version of the saree look is definitely going to grab all the eye-balls and will look amazing with a bold bindi on the forehead and a pair of kolhapuri chappals.

Time to add some more colors. I am wearing this vibrant multi-colored maxi dress I got from JC Collections that has all the colors of the National Flag. Well, this dress alone is apt for the celebrations but since, this video is about creating fusion looks, I decided to layer it with the white maxi top and just look at the result. It looks so vibrant and amazing.I further draped this reddish-orange dupatta to add the ethnic touch and there you go! Since, the look is already so vibrant, no further accessories is required. Just a pair of white heels and you are good to go.
