Planning a wardrobe for a temple visit can be tricky. You want to reflect the mood of the venue without looking gimmicky, and you want to exude a fashion sense without making it look like you dressed up to go pray. Fortunately for me, my personal style and long experience with temple visits has made me something of an expert when it comes to this look. While I do indeed like to look good wherever I go, my main priority is always comfort because no matter how great you look, if you’re not comfortable it will eventually show.
I wore a pair of emerald green dhoti pants I got from Soch and teamed them with a red flared top featuring flared sleeves I got from Westside. I totally love the way this fusion turned out and not to mention the relaxed silhouette allowed me the much required freedom of movement and comfort.

Moving on to my accessories for the look, I wore this gorgeous multi-chain antique silver necklace, and these tribal finger rings I got from Amrapali. and yes, I painted my nails in an emerald green shade as well.
For my hair, I just clipped in my Glamcheck Hair Extensions, created loose curls and left them open and for my makeup, I just applied moisturizer, black eyeliner, mascara, a red lipstick and a bright red bindi on my forehead and That’s pretty much it.
I think this fusion look was the perfect choice for my temple visit and it covered everything I wanted – style, comfort and a little drama too with the accessories.
What do you think 🙂
